Hello everyone!

I'm participating in a fundraising event THIS SATURDAY called Extra Life to raise money for the Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia!

I'll be PLAYING VIDEO GAMES for 24 HOURS STRAIGHT to raise money for the charity, and for MOST of those hours I'll be saving the world from Lavos by marathoning Chrono Trigger in my Marle cosplay!! I'll be updating live from facebook during the event too with pictures and shenanigans! If I can, I will see if I can also work out some sort of livestream as well. If I can make it happen, I'll post the link here!

EDIT: Thank you everyone for your donations and support! The event was a lot of fun, if punishing at times, and I spent the entire 24 hours playing Chrono Trigger and Radical Dreamers! <3

I did end up livestreaming the event, but I forgot to update this journal entry before the event! I'm sorry everyone!   You can still catch some of the video footage from the event on my channel though, if you'd like to check it out: www.twitch.tv/lunairetic  I was in cosplay the WHOLE time, which WAS fun, but it took a toll on my poor Marle costume. ;_; by the end of the night my heavy wig was killing me, and my gold belt was practically demolished by sitting in it for 24 hours. :/ Oh well, I needed an excuse to remake it anyway I guess....

OH! I also made a cute video to promote the event that I shared on facebook last Friday. I'll share it here too even though the event is over now. I'm pretty proud of it because I've never done anything like this before and have no idea how to edit videos, so I had to get it right all in one take!!!!

I think the quote for the event ended up being Marle's "Look! A hole!" from the Woolsey's Chrono Trigger translation (for the SNES). XD  My new quest: point out ALL THE HOLES the next time I wear my Marle costume!!
